“Jazavac Pred Sudom” at the National Theater in Sarajevo

predstavaThe premiere of the comedy “Jazavac pred sudom” based on the drama by Petar Kočić will be performed at the National Theater in Sarajevo on Wednesday, 26 March at 20:00.

The director of this play is Zulfikar Filandra, a student of the third year at the Academy of Performing Arts in Sarajevo. The play is part of an exam in the Directing Department, led by prof. Pjer Žalica.

“Jazavac pred sudom” is a satire about the meeting of a little man and the system. A peasant David Štrbac comes before the Austrian court with a badger in a sack and sues him because he has eaten the entire field of corn. This play is realized in the production of the Academy of Performing Arts in Sarajevo and YIHR B&H supported the implementation of this theater project.

The admission to this play is free.
