Basketball players of Panthinaikos won the Cup of Greece, beating Apolon in the final with the result of 68:53.
After the elimination of Olympiakos and PAOK, the team of Dusko Ivanovic had easier job in the final. Mavrokefalidis led the team to the victory with 13 points, and Diamantidis, Gist and Batista threw nine points each.
Thsi is the 16th trophy of the most massive competition in the history of the club for Panathinaikos. Olympiakos has nine trophies and Aris eight.
The team of Dusko Ivanovic will be guest to Crvena Zvezda on Thursday in the last round of Top 16 phase of the Euro League and in the case of win will win a ranking among the top eight teams in Europe.
