CoM allocates over 1.3 Million BAM as Support for Sports Events, Associations and Clubs

The Council of Ministers of BiH, at the proposal of the Ministry of Civil Affairs, at its 71st extraordinary telephone session, adopted the Decision on the allocation of funds intended for the current grant “Co-financing of sports events” for 2025.

The decision allocates a total of 1,342,000 BAM from the budget of the Ministry of Civil Affairs to 179 beneficiaries.

Of this amount, a total of 800,000 BAM is allocated to the Olympic Committee of BiH, the Paralympic Committee of BiH, sports associations registered in BiH and sports associations of persons with disabilities registered in BiH, while 542,000 BAM is intended for sports clubs that organize or participate in international sports events.

Among the largest recipients are the Olympic Committee of BiH with 130,000 BAM, the Paralympic Committee of BiH with 55,000 BAM, and the Volleyball Federation of BiH with 35,000 BAM.

The decision obliges users to conclude a contract on the use of funds with the Ministry of Civil Affairs of BiH, the Information Service of the Council of Ministers of BiH announced.
