Commander of EUFOR, Major General Maurizio Fronda, together with representatives of the Turkish Liaison and Observation Team (LOT House), met with the Mayor of Livno, Mr. Darko Čondrić, reaffirming the importance of strong cooperation between EUFOR and local authorities.

The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss continued collaboration and the shared commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment for all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Following the meeting, COM EUFOR travelled to the Glamoč Training Area, where a controlled detonation of explosive material was carried out as part of ongoing activities to dismantle leftover explosive devices.

EUFOR monitored the activity through its Special Ammunition and Weapons Advisor (SAWAD), demonstrating its continued support for efforts that contribute to safety, stability and the reduction of risks posed by leftover explosive devices.

Through close cooperation with domestic institutions and international partners, EUFOR remains committed to supporting a safe, secure and stable Bosnia and Herzegovina.
