COM EUFOR, Major General Maurizio Fronda, welcomed His Majesty’s Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ms. Dawn McKen, to Camp Butmir on 21st October.
The office call provided an opportunity to exchange views on the current security environment in Bosnia and Herzegovina, EUFOR Operation Althea’s mandate and the mission’s continued contribution to maintaining a safe and secure environment.
Major General Fronda and Ambassador McKen also discussed cooperation with the authorities and security institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the importance of continued engagement between EUFOR and international partners.
Ambassador McKen assumed her role in Bosnia and Herzegovina in August 2026, following a diplomatic career spanning senior appointments in Europe and a range of security and foreign policy roles.
The meeting formed part of COM EUFOR’s continued engagement with members of the diplomatic community in Bosnia and Herzegovina, supporting dialogue, mutual understanding and shared situational awareness.
