Football representative of Bosnia and Herzegovina Ermedin Demirović is on the verge of a big transfer to the Turkish giant Galatasaray.
According to the local media, Stuttgart and the current champion of Turkey reached an agreement on compensation of around 20 million euros, while the striker himself agreed to the terms offered.
Demirovic has a three-year contract, and official confirmation of the entire deal is expected in the coming days.
Demirović should soon travel to Istanbul for medical examinations and contract signing.
During the two-year episode in Stuttgart, he played 87 games, scoring 32 goals with 11 assists, so going to a club with the highest European ambitions represents a big step forward in his career.
This summer, the striker also played for the national team at the World Cup, where he was often the target of criticism from fans due to his poor performance.
In his previous performances in the jersey with the national coat of arms, he played 44 games and scored four goals.
His arrival is expected to further strengthen the Turkish giant’s attacking line.
