CoM: Restrict the Import of Cars without a Minimum of Euro 4 Standard

importThe Council of Ministers ordered institutions of B&H to undertake urgent action on amending regulations on the import of vehicles – a minimum environmental standard of engines “Euro 4”.

The Council of Ministers of B&H at the last session, while taking into consideration the increased air pollution in larger BH cities, tasked the Ministry of Communications and Transport, the Indirect Taxation Authority (ITA) and other relevant institutions of B&H to take urgent action on amending legislation, which are regulating import of cars in B&H, to prohibit the import of cars with engines that do not meet the “Euro 4” standard.

To solve the Infrastructure of the Crossing Trzacka Rastela – Cazin

The Council of Ministers tasked the ITA to include equipping and construction of infrastructure at the border crossing Trzacka Rastela – Cazin on the list of priorities, and regarding this tasked the Ministry of Security to submit the initiative in this regard to the Joint Commission formed under the Agreement on border crossings with the Republic of Croatia. Joint Commission is obliged to report the activities to the Council of Ministers within 30 days.

Include the Border Crossing Izazic – Bihac to the list of so called BIP Crossings

The Council of Ministers started an initiative in front of the competent authorities and the European Commission for the inclusion of the border crossing Izazic – Bihac on the list of the crossings from the European Union on which is completely enabled traffic of all goods of plant and animal origin. The initiative will be submitted within 15 days.
