Pyramids of Visoko are the motif of the British comedy ”Road to Ruins” which will soon start shooting in BiH.
The stars of the film are British comedian Martin Trenaman and Croatian actress Csilla Barath Bastaić, and young actor and producer from Sarajevo Boris Glavočević will also be a part of the cast.
Road to Ruins is comedy about a tragic man’s journey of self discovery via alcohol, prostitutes and pyramids in Eastern Europe.
Many thought Darren Zack Humphries’ career was over when he used curse words on live tv.
No one expected when he was foolishly asked by a beautiful Bosnian grad student to help present and produce her documentary about the discovery of pyramids in her hometown of Visoko, Bosnia, that DZ would seize this as his opportunity to re-launch his career.
With all the care, diligence and professionalism of a brick, DZ is set to present this documentary about the biggest archaeology discovery of 21st Century…or is it all a huge hoax?
Either way, jobless, desperate and drunk womanizer ‘Darren Zack’ – is perhaps the most inappropriate person to investigate such matter.
Against all odds they set of, discovering more about them self with each passing day. This will be journey to remember!
Theme of the film is related to BiH, it deals with the current situation but without references to war.
The genre of the film is a blend of comedy, romance and fun facts, and producers hope that the film will be accepted by indie audience.
The film will be directed by Nathanael Wiseman and produced by Matthew Lane.
