The company MS & WOOD (“Masters and Wood”) received two awards for design at this year’s furniture fair in Cologne.
The jury of the most important fair of furniture in the world, awarded the design of chairs and tables from the last line of Primum collection 2016, which were designed and produced in a furniture factory in Fojnica, which was presented at the booth of MS & WOOD.
The chair and table by Fojnica manufacturers was designed by Avdo Avdagic, and it was awarded in the category Iconic Awards: Interior Innovation.
“This is a great success for the whole B&H furniture industry, Fojnica and of course MS & WOOD. We showed once again that we are able to design, develop and produce furniture of the most demanding standards and the highest price range. This is also the last, third phase of the development of MS & WOOD’s, because after the restructuring from non-perspective production of wires to the manufacturing of furniture, then mastering of technological processes and quality that have brought us almost 100% export of our furniture in 40 countries, we successfully completed the third phase of development, which is our own design and production of furniture of the highest quality for domestic and global market. Awards Iconic Awards: Interior Innovation was awarded by a jury composed of: Barbara Friedrich from the German magazine A&W Architektur & Wohnen Hamburg, Andrej Kupetz, executive director of the German Association of designers Frankfurt am Main, Giulio Ridolfo, a designer from Udine – Italy, Gerhard Wolf, owner of Funktion Möbel from Darmstadt – Germany.
