The business group from Qatar “Hamdo Group” is ready to allocate a total of 2.6 million BAM for the purchase of the Wood Industry “Sanica”, in the settlement near Kljuc.

“They stated that they are ready to invest 4 million BAM in the revitalization of the manufacturing process and to hire about 200 workers, said the director of the company Una-Sana Forests, Haris Mesic.

He added that they conducted elaboration studies on the launch of production in “Sanica”, which they are planning to give to potential investors.

The aforementioned company from Qatar is engaged in works with metal industry and construction, and it has a wide range of jobs in several Arab countries and they are planning expansion in Europe.

To recall, the Wood Industry “Sanica” went through two unsuccessful privatizations in the post-war period, and its production was completely stopped 9 years ago.

After the company bankrupted, it was purchased by the company “Una-Sana Forests”, which is a publicly owned company that is responsible for the entire forestry fund in the area of USC.
