tabasnica_atik_mahala_In order to revive the historical center of the center of Tuzla, applications are now open in the municipality of Tuzla for the construction of a small hotel on Trg Slobode.

The greatest attention was directed to the urban design units “Tabašnice-Atik mahala”. This project was submitted for consideration and adoption to the municipal council Tuzla, after which it will increase access to the historical center of the city.

‘’This part was for years neglected in the development of the city. One of the reasons is that the regime bans construction, which was in force for the last 20 or so years, as well as causes of subsidence, which are in this part extremely regulated’’, said Selma Imamović, leader of the urban project “Tabašnice-Atik mahala”.

The tendency of this urban project is the revitalization and improvement of the function and content that brings that brings to it a significant part of the historical city center.
