Almost 10 Percent Decrease in a Total Number of Fixed Telephone in BiH

A total number of fixed telephone lines of dominant operators in the first quarter of 2018 was 619.489 which represents a decrease of 9,4% compared to the first quarter 2017h.

The total traffic of fixed telephone network in the fourth quarter 2018 was 462.491.302 minutes which shows a decrease of 4,2% compared the first quarter 2017th, BiH Agency for Statistics reports.

Total mobile network users in the first quarter of 2018 were 3.301.808which shows a slight increase of 0,6% compared to the first quarter 2017th year. The total traffic of mobile telephone network in the first quarter 2018 was 524.806.197minutes which represents a decrease of 5,9% compared to the first quarter 2017th year.

The number of SMS messages sent in the first quarter 2018 decreased by 22,3%, while the number of MMS messages sent decreased by 13,7% compared to the first quarter 2017th.

The total number of Internet connections via the fixed network in the first quarter of 2018 was 686.226 an increase of 3,4% compared the first quarter of 2017.
