Principal Deputy High Representative in BiH, Ambassador David Robinson said today in Banja Luka that the conditions for closing the Office of the High Representative (OHR) in B&H have not yet been fulfilled.

‘We agree that the OHR should be closed, but it depends on the conditions, which have not yet been met’, Robinson said after a meeting with the President of the National Assembly of Serb Republic (RS) Nedeljko Čubrilović, adding that he hopes that B&H will work towards faster accession to the European Union.

Emphasizing that the entities and the state as a whole are facing with challenges, Robinson stressed that addressing these challenges requires coordination at all levels and placing problems of the citizens to the fore, before the political ones.

Čubrilović said that at the meeting with Ambassador Robinson, the cooperation between the parliaments in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the priorities of the RS, including the development of the real sector and addressing social issues of citizens, have been discussed.

President of the National Assembly of RS said that they also discussed the infrastructure issues.
