The conference was organized by the members of the project “Strengthening the capacity of the government’s institutions in participation at the political dialogue with the civil society (CBGI)”, financed by the EU/IPA 2011, and implemented by the Kronauer Consulting.

The panellists from five European countries (Great Britain, Island, Estonia, Hungary and Montenegro) presented their standards of institutional communication, examples of good practices and challenges of the two-way communication of the authorities with the citizens and with civil society organizations.

The citizens expect for the state leaders and the public administration to establish appropriate mechanisms and innovative communicational standards of the two-way communication which will enable open communication of the public institutions with the civil society as well as free, clear and accessible flow of information concerning public interest. – was pointed out during the conference.
