Conference on Jahorina on Roles of Public Services in Prevention of Hate Speech

jahorina_ljeto_2012aThe Association of BiH Journalists, in cooperation with the Regulatory Agency for Communication of BiH and with the support of the Council of Europe, is organizing a two-day conference called the “Role of public services in BiH in the prevention and reduction of hate speech in the public realm’’.

The conference will be held on Jahorina from 28-29 June with the participation of representatives of public broadcasters, local and regional public media, media experts, journalists, editors, representatives of civil society, parliamentarians and professors of journalist.

The conference is being organized as part of the project “Promotion of Professionalism and Tolerance in Media in BiH”, financed by the government of Norway and Ireland, and implemented by the office of the Council of Europe in Sarajevo, announced the organizers.
