Census Results in 2016 oslobodjenje.baUnique program of data processing of the population census in 2013 in B&H was not adopted yesterday as well, as it was defined by the action plan which was adopted by the Central Census Bureau last month. Consequently, the deadline for the publication of census results has been prolonged to the beginning of 2016.

With the majority of votes, the Census Bureau of the Agency for Statistics of B&H maintained its proposal because it has been done in accordance with international census standards and recommendations of the International monitoring team, and because every deviation would question the credibility of the census.

Director of the Federal Institute for Statistics of FB&H Hidajeta Bajramovic and the Secretary of the Federal Institute for Statistics of FB&H Galiba Karacic have declared that they will support the unique program of data processing of the census when all members of the Central Census Bureau reach an agreement.

“Census Bureau of the Agency for Statistics of B&H will deliver the information on the status of activities on the census for consideration, after which it will make a new action plan and submit it to the Central Census Bureau for adoption”, Adembegovic said.
