Armin and Haris Alikadic from Sarajevo, have successfully drove the charity race of 4L Trophy, from Biarritz in France to Marrakesh in Morocco, where they have shared medical supplies to children of this African country.
Alikadic brothers started this adventure from Sarajevo on 5ht February, and them they travelled through Zagreb, Ljubljana, German cities Munich and Stuttgart, and French cities Besancon and Annecy, to arrive to Biarritz on17th February, from where the race started after two days.
“Impression were still strong and everything happened in a hurry somehow. Wherever we were, people have accepted us more and more and they recognized the flag of BiH“, SAID Armin adding that the first station was Spanish Salamanca where they spent the nights.
“We left the hotel among the last ones, because we wanted to sleep.. But we reached the column quickly because all participants made frequent breaks at gas stations. Gatherings on gas stations were very interesting, no matter how strange could it seem. We have learned a lot about cars through the journey, so we were able to help some teams in a couple of occasions, and for that we were rewarded. So, we were full of energetic drinks, macaroni etc. before Morocco“, explained Armin in a talk for MONDO.
They emphasize that they had daily gatherings with other participants, so at the end of the ceremony, they were declared as the mascot of the 18th edition of 4L Trophy.
“It was a great honor for us because we came there to represent our country. Also, we were at the final video of the organization, because one journalist met us and wanted to hear our story. Just before the end, one journalist from the French television TF1 met Haris and said that she was looking for us all the time and that she was so sad because she hadn’t done the interview with us, and also advised us to “send“ one more team at the next edition“, said Armin.
