Marija Marjanovic, young B&H national team member in karate won a new medal for B&H.
Two days ago, this 17-year-old won a silver medal at the Balkan Championships in karate, in the category of junior fighting (up to 59 kg).
According to the previous points, she has a good chance to perform at the European Championship in Cyprus, in February next year.
Her dream is to represent our country at the Olympics in Tokyo 2020.
Marija won silver after a serious knee injury and a 10-month long break, after which, in the three election tournaments, she won her first appearance for our national team.
Marjanovic is engaged in karate for 10 years, and she spent the last 4 years in fights.
She is training as a member of the Karate Club Ilidza, under the eye of famous national team member in karate Denis Muhovic. Marija is the first day master of karate, black belt.
She is also vice champion this year in our country, and a champion of the Canton Sarajevo last year.
