Construction of the A transversal at Aerodromsko Settlement

TransphersaleThe first phase of the construction of A Transversal in Aerodromsko settlement, which have started in early September, should be completed by the mid-December, according to the announcements by the contractor company Euro – Asfalt.

According to Suad Jazic, head of the construction site, the first phase covers section of 650 meters, and it extends from the intersection of Kurt Schork Street and Brace Mulic Street to the bridge in the settlement itself.

One million BAM was allocated for the first phase of works, for which the funds were provided by the Municipality Novi Grad and the Road Directorate of Canton Sarajevo. The construction of this transversal, which will be linking Sarajevo International Airport with the rest of the city in a length of 1,800 meters, will greatly relieve the traffic in this area. A transversal will be a boulevard with wide sidewalks and pillars with a green belt, and modern roundabout in Mojmilo will be introduced under Djecije Selo.
