The construction of the Lasva-Travnik-Jajce highway from the Vitez business zone to Nevic Polje is starting (more precisely its first section). The value of the contracted works is 74.904.570.00 BAM including VAT, with a deadline of 20 months.

Construction of the Lasva-Nevic Polje highway, Lot 5 – Vitez petlja exit from the business zone – Nevic Polje petlja will be financed with earmarked funds from the Government Budget of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH), BHRT writes.

”Construction of the first section of the Lasva-Travnik-Jajce highway will start thanks to a political decision, stable economy, and legal and urban preconditions that did not exist during the previous 15 years, as well as the persistence and determination of the new Administration of Autoceste company to speed up all processes leading to road infrastructure construction in the entire FBiH. We plan to continue activities with the construction of the highway in order to eventually connect western BiH, more precisely Bihac, Cazin, and Velika Kladusa through Kljuc, Jajce, with the central part of Corridor Vc and further with eastern BiH and neighboring countries Serbia and Montenegro,” stressedElmedin Voloder, director of the Public Utility Autoceste FBiH.

To recall, the Government of FBiH made a decision which determined that the construction of the highway Lasva – NevicPolje, in the length of nearly 25 kilometers, is of public interest for the FBiH and declared it one of the priority projects in the FBiH.

The construction of this road is divided into five sections (LOTs): Lasva – Kaonik, Kaonik – Seliste, Seliste – Vitez (petljaVitez – entrance to the Business Zone), Business Zone Vitez (petlja Vitez – entrance to the business zone – petlja Vitez – exit from the business zone) and petlja Vitez (exit from the Business zone) – petlja Nevic Polje.
