Construction Permit for Bihac Airport to be issued in March

The delegation of the City of Bihać, led by Mayor Elvedin Sedić, visited the Federal Ministry of Transport and Communications and informed the relevant minister Andrijana Katić about the obtained approval in principle for the construction of the first phase of the Bihać airport.

During the meeting, it was pointed out that the construction permit is expected to be issued in March of this year, given that all the prerequisites for obtaining it have been met. In this context, the representatives of the City emphasized that at this stage it is necessary to secure financial resources for the construction, so that a public call for the selection of contractors could be announced as soon as possible.

Minister Katić emphasized that Bihać has full support in the implementation of this project of regional importance, and that the Ministry, in cooperation with the City, will continue to lobby and work with the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the aim of securing the necessary funds and creating conditions for all phases of the project to proceed smoothly and in accordance with the set deadlines.
