Elektroprivreda BiH, in cooperation with the World Bank, is participating in the implementation of the Scaling Up Renewable Energy Project in Bosnia and Herzegovina (SURE – Scaling Up Renewable Energy Project, P513984), which aims to support the energy transition through increasing the capacity of renewable energy sources, modernizing existing production facilities and developing the market for rooftop solar systems for households.

The component implemented by Elektroprivreda BiH includes the launch of the initial phase of the “Prosumer 5000+” program, which relates to financing the installation of rooftop solar photovoltaic systems for households, the rehabilitation of the Salakovac HPP, the installation of solar systems at the Tuzla and Kakanj thermal power plants, and technical assistance and support for project implementation, including the preparation of studies and project documentation.

As part of public information activities, Elektroprivreda BiH will present the aforementioned projects through public consultations and presentations in Sarajevo, Tuzla, Kakanj and Jablanica, in the period from 27 to 29 April 2026, the company announced.

The presentation of the “Prosumer 5000+” project will be held on April 27th in the Business and Technical Building of Elektroprivreda BiH in Sarajevo.

The projects Construction of Solar Power Plants with Battery Energy Storage will be presented to the public on April 28th at TPP “Tuzla” and on April 29th at TPP “Kakanj”, when a presentation of the project Rehabilitation of the Salakovac HPP is also planned at the premises of the HPP on the Neretva in Jablanica.

Elektroprivreda BiH has invited institutions, companies, civil society organizations and other organizations, representatives of local communities and all other interested parties to participate in the consultations and presentations.
