Flag of Bosnia and Herzegovina Raised Once Again on Jahorina Mountain

The flag of Bosnia and Herzegovina is raised once again on Jahorina – in the same location where it was previously torn down.

The flag was raised for the first time on Košuta peak in 2024. The following day, it was destroyed after its removal was announced by the president of the Supervisory Board of the Jahorina Ski Center, and Ljubiša Ćosić, Mayor of East Sarajevo.

At one point, they made false statements that the flag was raised on the territory of Republika Srpska.

After being destroyed in September 2024, the flag was raised once again this summer, in June. There is no information on what happened and why the flag had to be raised for the third time this weekend.

The Bosman Company participated in raising the flag of Bosnia and Herzegovina on Jahorina this weekend.

The location is about 60 to 90 minutes from Sarajevo, along the main road toward Trnovo, where, just before Trnovo, you turn left toward Grepak, Klix.ba writes.
