The Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia, Andrej Plenković, will pay an official visit to Mostar on Tuesday, September 1, where he will visit several institutions in the morning and then participate in the contract award ceremony in Potoci.
According to the program of the visit, Plenković will visit the University of Mostar at 10:45 a.m., where a meeting with the University’s management is scheduled in the SUMIT building on the Rodoč Campus. The meeting will be attended, among others, by the President of the Croatian National Assembly of BiH Dragan Čović, a member of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH Darijana Filipović, the University’s Rector Ivo Čolak, and members of the administration.
At 11:30 a.m., the Croatian Prime Minister will visit the University Clinical Hospital Mostar, where he will be welcomed by Director Ante Kvesić, Deputy Director Kristina Galić, and members of the administration and management of individual clinics.
After that, at 12:10 p.m., Plenković will visit the Croatian National Theatre Mostar, where a meeting with Director Ivan Vukoja is scheduled.
The central part of the program begins at 1:00 p.m. in the Garden of St. Francis, in the Monastery of the Franciscan School Sisters of Christ the King in Potoci.
The ceremony is scheduled to feature speeches by the Mayor of Mostar, Mario Kordić, State Secretary of the Central State Office for Croats Abroad Zvonko Milas, Minister of Labor, Pension System, Family and Social Policy Alen Ružić, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Physical Planning Branko Bačić, and Minister of Tourism and Sports Tonči Glavina.
Speeches by Darijana Filipović and Andrej Plenković are also scheduled, after which contracts from individual departments will be awarded.
The program will be accompanied by performances by Klapa Grga from Posušje, HKD Napredak Kreševo, Zbor Adoro Tolisa and Dječija klapa Bura from Stolac. A symbolic olive tree planting is also planned with the participation of members of HKUD St. Ante Cim from Mostar.
