Construction of “Vranduk” to Begin Soon

hevrandukThe Prime Minister of the FB&H Nermin Nikšić, General Director of Elektroprivreda Elvedin Grabovica, ministers in the FB&H government and members of the Board of Elektroprivreda will visit today the future location of hydro electric plant Vranduk.

The reason for the tour is the start of works on the construction of the first hydro electric in the sysem of Elektroprivreda B&H in the post war period, the publication of the international public invitation for the pre qualification of the company and a consortium of those who are interested to participate in the construction of Vranduk and delivery of a mangement plan for maintenance of the national monument in the old town of Vranduk.

The value of the project HE Vranduk is 127 million BAM. It is planned as a flow diversion plant, installed capacity of 19,63 MW and an average annual production of 96,38 gigawatt hours (GWh).

Director Grabovica will hand over to the Director of the Institute for Protection of Cultural Monuments Lidija Mičić a management plan for maintenance of the national monument of the old town of Vranduk.
