Containers installed in which Citizens can leave Clothes for the ones in Need

Zenica City Administration realized a pilot project of containers in which citizens can clothing and footwear for the citizens in need.

From the Service for Ecology, Utilities, and Inspection of the City of Zenica, it was confirmed for Klix.ba news website that the purchase and placing of two containers was done today and that Red Cross will do the control.

Containers are located at two locations in Zenica, in the Zenica settlement Crkvica and in Odmut settlement.

“For these purposes, 3.950,40 BAM was allocated from the budget and since it is a pilot project, it should answer the question of whether citizens are using these containers in the correct way. The dimensions of the containers are 1,15 x 1,20 x 2,20 meters and a special contract was given to the Red Cross which will distribute the collected clothing and footwear to people in a state of social need.”
