Antonio Conte is set to become the highest-paid coach in Serie A once he signs the contract with Napoli. Although the exact amount of his salary has not been disclosed, Italian media assert that it will be between eight and nine million euros.

One Italian sports newspaper reports that Conte already has an offer in front of him, while another mentioned that only minor details need to be resolved before finalizing the contract. It is still unclear whether Conte will sign a three-year contract or a two-year contract with an option to extend for an additional season.

The highest-paid coach in Italy currently is Inter’s Simone Inzaghi, who earns 5.5 million euros annually, excluding bonuses.
