Contemporary dance in Sarajevo War Theatre

Two_dancersOn Thursday, 11 April two contemporary dance performances called ‘are made of this’ by dragana Alfirević from Serbia/Slovenia and ‘Transformability’ by Willy Prager from Bulgaria will be held in Sarajevo War Theatre at 8 p.m.

‘Are made of this’ was done in the production of Dance Theatre ‘Ljubljana’ and ‘Transformability’ in production of Бbrain Сstore Пproject from Sofia.

Dragana Alfirević is a choreographer and performer, lecturer, producer and publicist, one of initiators of the Balkan Dance Network and Nomad Dance Academy. She will offer master class ‘Body and space. Body is space’ in Sarajevo in cooperation with Primary music school and ballet school ‘Novo Sarajevo’.

Willy Prager is an independent artist from Sofia, who realized many contemporary dance productions; he’s co-founder of the project Бbrain Сstore Пproject and the co-founder of Nomad Dance Academy and festival Antistatic Festival, Sofia.

Realization of these two projects in Sarajevo is happening as a part of the finals of Swiss Western Balkans Culture Program named ‘Cultural meetings- cooperation, achievements and perspectives ( In focus: 15 years of Swiss South East Europe Culture Program).
