LP-headerSportsCollageIn Bosnian Podrinje Canton Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, contracts with sports club that achieved the right to be financed in this year have been signed, reports FENA.

Before the adoption of the Plan of Allocation of funds for financing sports clubs, the competent ministry has went through all legal procedures for allocation of these funds, after which the government of BPK adopted the final plan of allocation and has approved the signing of the contract on overall value of 283 090 BAM.

As some clubs did not fulfil the needed criteria to be financed from the budget in this year, competent minister Dževad Adžem said that the competent ministry, in attempt to support the work of large number of sports club has allocated a certain amount from reserve funds for the support of other sports clubs.

It is primarily the athletic club ’Goražde’ which will participate in the organisation of the upcoming cantonal athletic competition of pupils of primary and high schools, and the plan of the Ministry is to support the work of Handball club ‘Radnički’.

‘We will open another round of negotiations with representatives of all sports clubs. Some stances we might redefine and bring new decisions, but the intention of the Ministry in the next year will be ‘sports to schools’ and more significant investment in primary and high schools and competition, and of course, we’ll help clubs as well’, said Adžem.

He noted that from a very small cantonal budget, a significant amount of money is being allocated for the support of sports club and sports in general in this canton.

Financing from the budget will encompass 23 clubs from the area of Bosnian Podrinje Canton.
