Cooperation between BiH Ministry of Security and EUFOR contributed to improvement of security

Minister of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Selmo Cikotić, today received the Commander of the European Union Force (EUFOR) in BiH, Major General Anton Wessely, on a farewell visit.

It was pointed out that the cooperation and extremely good relations established in the past period between the Ministry of Security of BiH and EUFOR significantly contributed to the improvement of security and stability in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Cikotić and Wessely exchanged views on the current security situation in BiH and the region, as well as key security challenges in the future.

They expressed expectation that through the continuation of the previous cooperation, the key obligations and objectives of the mission of EUFOR, as well as the security agencies in BiH, will be successfully implemented in improving security for all citizens of BiH, the Ministry of Security of BiH announced.
