The Deputy Chairman of the BiH Council of Ministers and the Minister of Finance and Treasury Nikola Špirić received today the Ambassador of Russia to BiH Aleksandar Bocan-Harčenko.

They spoke of the current political and economic situation and BiH’s progress in the European path.

They agreed that bilateral relations are good, but that cooperation between BiH and Russia has to improve with the conclusion of certain intergovernmental agreements.

In this regard, it was stressed that an agreement has to be prepared on the avoidance of double taxation between BiH and Russia, as well as an agreement on the protection of investments between the two countries.

Minister Špirić stressed that there is willingness of the Ministry of Finance and Treasury of BiH and BiH institutions to create these treaties and guidelines in order to further enhance the relations between the two countries.
