The BiH Minister of Security Fahrudin Radončić received today the Head of the Council of Europe to BiH Mary Ann Hennessey.
During the meeting they stressed that the fight against corruption, rule of law and the protection of human rights is of great importance for the Council of Europe because these are issues relevant to the democratization of any society.
Mary Ann Hennessey agreed that now corruption is the biggest threat to democracy. For Minister Radončić the fight against systematic corruption is a priority, and they have the full support of the Council of Europe.
They discussed the prevention of money laundering and on detection and confiscation.
The Minister thanked the Council of Europe for supporting BiH in the area of security and the invitation to visit the headquarters of the Council of Europe in Strasbourg.
