Council of Ministers appoints Director of OSA

New Director of OSA visoko.co.baCouncil of Ministers of B&H appointed Osman Mehmedagić as the Director General of the Intelligence and Security Agency of B&H (OSA BiH), Trifko Buha as the Deputy Director General, and Damir Bevanda as the Chief Inspector of this agency.

Appointments were executed after the Joint Commission for Supervision of the Intelligence and Security Agency of B&H expressed opinion that the legal prerequisites for suggesting new leadership were respected.

Council of Ministers of B&H appointed Edin Dilberović as the Director of Directorate for European Integration (DEI) B&H, dismissing Nevenka Savić from that function.

At yesterday’s session, the Council of Ministers of B&H also appointed the former Director Husein Nanić to the acting position of the Director of the Agency for Development of Higher Education and Quality Assurance of B&H until the appointment of new director of this agency.

The Council of Ministers appointed the Minister of Finance and Treasury of B&H Vjekoslav Bevanda, the Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of B&H Mirko Šarović, and the Minister of Civil Affairs Adil Osmanović to the Joint Steering Committee of UN for strategic coordination and monitoring of the implementation of the UN Program from 2015 to 2019. Thereby, all prerequisites for the formation of this steering committee have been fulfilled, after the governments of Republika Srpska and the FB&H appointed their representatives.
