Council of Ministers decides Migrants will be accommodated​ at Bira Camp

At an extraordinary telephone session, the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina discussed the current migrant crisis in Bosnia and Herzegovina with the aim of finding emergency solutions for the accommodation of migrants who are currently at the “Lipa” site and reached the appropriate conclusion.

As the location of the former factory “Bira” in Bihać, the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina by its Decision of 11 March 2019 determined as a temporary reception center for accommodation of migrants, The Council of Ministers of BiH explicitly calls on the authorities of the Una-Sana Canton and the City of Bihać to respect the stated valid decision and to accept and accommodate migrants at the “Bira” location without delay.
