Traffic Jams Relief radiosarajevo.baIn most parts of BiH, traffic is carried on mostly dry and partly wet roads this morning.

Because of the low temperatures, ice is possible especially on sections in the higher mountain regions, as well as bridges and tunnels entrances. Fog and low clouds will reduce visibility in the wider area of Sarajevo, Vitez, Jablanica, Bosanski Petrovac and Bosanska Krupa. Drivers should pay special attention to possible minor landslides or rocks. Drivers are urged not to drive without winter equipment, which is legally mandatory for all categories of vehicles.

Roads with current construction works include main roads: M-17 Nemila-Zepce, M-16 Banja Luka-Jajce, M-16.2 Prozor-Jablanica and M-18 Priboj-Simin Han, as well as the main roads M-17 in Bosanski Samac, M-5 in Bihac and M-6.1 in Mostar.

Due to the works on the territory of Croatia, drivers are warned on longer delays at border crossings Bosanski Brod – Slavonski Brod and Orasje-Zupanja. There will be no longer holds on the other border crossings.

“Due to the protest march today (10th of December) from 12 pm to 12:30 pm there will be a suspension of traffic in Marsala Tita Street (from the junction with the streets Hamze Hume and Alipasina Street, to the intersection with Fra Andjela Zvizdovica Street). Alternative routes are: MarsalaTita-Alipasina-Jukiceva-Nusreta Sisica Dede-Brace Begic-Halida Kajtaza-Zmaja od Bosne and Marsala Tita-Hamze Hume-Terezija-Vrbanja-Zmaja od Bosne.

“Due to construction works, traffic will be slowed down in the streets: Komatin, Halilbasica Street, Zvornicka Street and Kemal Begova Street.
