Brave Policeman saved the Girl who threw herself in Zeljeznica River

bridge32 year-old E. H. was saved yesterday thanks to the fast intervention of Sarajevo policeman after she jumped into Zeljeznica River from the bridge that is located near the Police Department Ilidza.

Drama in Rustempasina Street took place at 2:45 pm.

As confirmed from the Operations Center of the MIA CS, the girl was first spotted by one of the policeman from PU Ilidza, who jumped into Zeljeznica River and quickly pulled the unfortunate girl from the cold river.

She received medical treatment at the scene, and then she was immediately taken to the General Hospital “Prim. Dr. Abdulah Nakas” on a detailed examination.

According to eyewitnesses, the girl was not seriously injured.
