They discussed the current political processes in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the country’s European path, and the necessity of continuing reform activities. Emphasis was placed on the remaining reform priorities in terms of the necessary legal solutions, and expectations from the upcoming activities in the run-up to the General Elections were also commented on, the HDZ BiH Information Office announced.

Čović referred to the role of the Republic of France in the European integration of Bosnia and Herzegovina, expressing gratitude for its continued support for the reform processes.

Speaking about the current political circumstances, he emphasized that in the coming period it is important to urgently complete the remaining reform steps and, on the eve of the General Elections, to consistently respect the constitutional order, i.e. to ensure the permanent protection of constitutional rights and legitimate political representation of the Croatian people in BiH at all administrative and political levels.

Ambassador Delmas confirmed at the meeting the continuation of French support for the European perspective of BiH, emphasizing the importance of stability of the internal political dialogue. He expressed his expectation for the urgent adoption of the necessary legal solutions within the framework of the European path, as well as for the overall efforts to ensure the general growth and development of the situation in BiH.
