Crans Montana Forum to organize an Investment Conference in BiH?

While attending the annual Crans Montana Forum (CMF) meeting in Brussels, the Director of the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency (FIPA) Gordan Milinic met with the President of the Forum Pierre Emmanuel Qurín and the founder of the Forum, Ambassador Jean-Paul Carteron, and they discussed the possibility of cooperation on the promotion of BiH and its potentials all around the world.

Representatives of this forum proposed organizing an investment conference in Sarajevo in 2018, at which would be invited businessmen and investors from all around the world, as well as numerous officials and representatives of governments and international organizations, decision-makers and people with influence from the sector of politics and economy.

If we take into account the worldwide reputation that this organization has in political and economic circles and its impact on the world of business, as well as numerous business and political contacts, the organization of that kind of conference would have a large importance for the arrival of investors in BiH, the promotion of our country in the international business community, and the improvement of the image of BiH as well.

At the invitation of FIPA, representatives of the Crans Montana Forum will visit BiH at the end of November to discuss the organization of the investment conference in 2018 with the relevant BH authorities.

Considering the lack of promotion of BiH and its economic opportunities abroad, the organization of an investment conference in co-operation with CMF would make a great impact on the improvement of the image of our country and promotion of the investment opportunities, the promotion of businessmen and holders of investment projects, as stated from FIPA.
