Crnadak to attend the Session of the UN General Assembly

crnadakMinister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Igor Crnadak will participate in the 71st session of the General Assembly of United Nations that is to be held in New York.

Today, on the first day of his visit, Crnadak will participate at the meeting of ministers of foreign affairs of the Western Balkans countries. The meeting will be hosted by the federal Minister for Europe, Integration and Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Austria Sebastian Kurz. Crnadak will also participate in a high-level debate on refugees and migrants on the same day.

During the second day of his visit, Crnadak will attend a trilateral meeting with Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs Boris Johnson and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany Walter Steinmeier. In the evening, Crnadak will attend a reception hosted by the President of the European Council Donald Tusk, President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker, and High Representative of EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini.

On Wednesday, September 21, Crnadak will have a meeting with High Representative of EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini and Commissioner for European Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Johannes Hahn. These meetings will be also attended by other ministers of foreign affairs of Western Balkans countries. On the same day, Minister Crnadak will attend a dinner organized by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Germany Walter Steinmeier on the occasion of the candidacy of that country for non-permanent member of the Security Council of United Nations.

On Thursday, Crnadak will take part in the informal meeting of ministers of foreign affairs of countries members of South-East European Cooperation Process (SEECP), after which he will be host to a meeting of ministers of foreign affairs of countries members of the Central European Initiative, a multilateral organization chaired by BiH this year.

During the day, trilateral meeting of ministers of foreign affairs of BiH, Serbia and Turkey will be held, as well as trilateral meeting of ministers of foreign affairs of BiH, Croatia and Turkey, stated the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH.
