The Chairperson of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Borjana Krišto, held a meeting in Sarajevo with the Minister of European and Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Albania, Igli Hasani.

Chairperson Krišto welcomed Minister Hasani and his delegation, emphasizing the importance of strengthening bilateral relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Albania.

The bilateral relations of our countries are friendly, without open issues, and in such an environment, we should strengthen our ties in all areas of common interest, the statement from the Council of Ministers of BiH stated.

It was emphasized that regional cooperation is one of the key foreign policy priorities of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as it contributes not only to the strengthening of bilateral relations, but also to the economic development of the entire region.

Chairperson Krišto also reiterated and confirmed the full and unequivocal commitment of Bosnia and Herzegovina to membership in the European Union, emphasizing that this is a long-term goal that remains a key foreign policy priority of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
