Last night in the Bosnian Cultural Centre in Sarajevo, a Cultural Week of Iran has been opened under the motto ”Islamic Iran in the mirror of culture and civilization”

Ambassador of Iran in BiH Reza Jusufi addressed the guests and noted about the good cooperation in the field of culture between Iran and BiH.

”Strong cooperation in the field of culture allows the officials to improve the relations in other fields”, said Jusufi.

On behalf of BiH officials, mayor of Stari Grad Sarajevo Ibrahim Hadžibajrić greeted the guests who noted that Iran has been presenting its culture, history and heritage in Sarajevo for several years.

”I hope that in the near future, we would organize workshops of calligraphy and workshops of making famous Iranian rugs”, said Hadžibajrić.

Also, the exhibition of photos by Iranian photographers has been opened, and the photos show everyday life of Iranians, but also cultural diversity of Iran.

Minister of Culture of Iran Seyyed Mohammad Hoseini also attended the opening ceremony.

In the next seven days, those interested will have the opportunity to see exhibitions of calligraphy, puppetry, films; enjoy Iranian music, meet with the traditional costumes of Iran and traditional dances and games.
