Željka Cvijanović, the Serb member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, assessed that the report by the Office of the High Representative (OHR) submitted to the United Nations (UN) Security Council is “typically manipulative and laden with stereotypical lies and misleading constructs.”
She stated that the report serves to “defend a legacy stemming from three decades of abuse of the Dayton Agreement and an international supervision that has long since spiraled out of control.”
“While mobs vandalize European capitals – and institutions there prove powerless to correct the errors of their own policies – the OHR writes about how certain appointments within the Council of Ministers have been blocked, supposedly weakening the state. Oh, give me a break!” Cvijanović wrote on the social network X.
The OHR report, submitted to the UN Security Council – which is set to review the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina on October 30 – notes, among other things, that obstructions (primarily originating from the authorities of Republika Srpska) are weakening state institutions and leading to the de facto separation of that entity from BiH.
