Cvijanović in New York oslobodjenje.baPresident of the Government of Republika Srpska Željka Cvijanović claims that only a valid population census, in accordance with international standards, is the interest of the RS and that “unilaterally adopted decision by the Agency for Statistics of BiH” cannot be justified with the excuse of a faster progress of BiH towards the EU.

Cvijanović discussed this issue with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden to biH Fredrik Schiller in Banja Luka yesterday.

Cvijanović expressed expectation that the coordination mechanism will be harmonized soon, in a way that it respects the constitutional jurisdictions of all levels of authority in BiH. Coordination mechanism is one of the preconditions for faster movement of BiH towards the EU.

It was jointly assessed that economic cooperation of RS and Sweden is good, but that there are numerous unused possibilities for its expansion and strengthening.
