Damir Dzumhur lost against Federer in the First Round of Wimbledon

Damir DzumhurThe best BH tennis player, Damir Dzumhur, lost against Roger Federer in the first round of Wimbledon with the result of 3:0. It was 6:1, 6:3 and 6:3 for a Swiss player.

Dzumhur and Federer played their second match this year after they met in the third round of Roland Garros by the end of May. The best BH tennis player was then defeated with the result of 3:0 (4:6, 3:6, 2:6).

In today’s meeting at the Central court of the All England Club in London, Swiss won the first gem, nut Dzumhur equalized soon after a brilliant point.

However, the seven-time winner of Wimbledon started more offensive in the further match and led with 4:1 after 14 minutes. Federer came again to the break after the double fault of Dzumhur in the sixth gem. Until the end of the first set, Federer won the seventh gem as well and led with 6:1 after 18 minutes.

At the opening of the second set, Dzumhur saved two break balls and led with 1:0. The second tennis player of the world equalized again, but an excellent game, especially in the service, brought the lead back to BH tennis player. But, with no lost point, Federer equalized to 2:2.

This was a historic day for BH tennis because this was the first time for some of BH tennis players to participate at the main part of the tournament in Wimbledon.
