The BiH Minister of Transport and Communication Damir Hadžić said that there have been any assumptions that by 2020 330 kilometers of highway would be constructed on Corridor 5C.

Hadžić said that it was imperative to connect Sarajevo with Doboj with a highway through Zenica.

“We expect that by mid-year of next year we will have Tarčin connected, respectively the south of Sarajevo with the south of Zenica’’, said Hadžić for ‘Nezavisne Novine’.

He said that 1 March the tunnel ‘Vijenac’ will be dug in, which after all failures with foreign companies working with domestic firms, there would be areas bound together with around 80 kilometers of highway.
