The RS Minister of Industry, Energy an Mining Željko Kovačević said that the construction of hydropower plants are in the process, and that they are in contact with the national park Sutjeska to implement all of the procedures to prevent any danger to the park.
“We still have not come to a concession agreement for the construction of small hydropower plants, nor will we do so in order to threaten a national park’’, said Kovačević to journalists in Banja Luka.
The RS government adopted in February 2012 the decision to give approval for the construction of small hydropower plants in the area of the national park Sutjeska.
