basicMirza Bašić (ATP 192) defeated Peter Nagy (ATP 786) with  the score of 3: 1 in sets (4: 6, 6: 4, 6: 3, 6: 3), thus making tie the overall score in the match between the National team of B&H and Hungary, which is played in Siofok within the 2nd round of group II of the Davis Cup.

“It is a pity that Tomo lost in the first match, he returned after two lost sets, and he fought well  in the finish, unfortunately we could not take the first point. However, Tomo has a new chance on Sunday, in the match against Nagy,” said selector Amer Delić, who is registered as player in this round of the Davis Cup as well, and will play doubles in pair with Bašić tomorrow in the match against Hungarian Marton Fucsovics / Levente Godry.

To remind, in today’s match played for more than 4 hours, Tomislav Brkić (ATP 231) was defeated by Marton Fucsovics with a score of 3: 2 (6: 2, 6: 3, 3: 6, 4: 6, 6: 3).

The replacement player in our team is young Nerman Fatić (ATP 819).
