At the 300th session that took place on November 24, 1995, the Presidency of the Republic of BiH adopted text and music of the anthem of the Republic of BiH, known as “One and Only”.
The author of the text was BH singer Dino Dervishalidovic (Dino Merlin), on the music of folk song “From the other side of the Pliva River”. This anthem was current until 1998, when it was replaced by today’s anthem without text, entitled “Intermezzo”, according to the decision of the High Representative.
The text of the anthem “One and Only” is following:
My thousand-year old land,
I pledge my loyalty to you.
From the sea to Sava
From Drina to Una
You are the one and only,
my only homeland.
You are the one and only,
Bosnia and Herzegovina.
May God save you
For the generations to come
You are the land of my dreams,
my forefathers.
You are the one and only,
my only homeland.
You are the one and only,
Bosnia and Herzegovina.
