The foundation “Archeological Park: Bosnian Pyramids of the Sun” will organize in Visoko today the manifestation called ”Day of Archeological Tourism in BiH-Bosnian Valley of the Pyramids”. The intention is to show the great potential of archeological tourism for the economic development of BIH.
Archeological tourism is, by all available indicators, a part of tourism that captures rapid development, said the foundation.
The program of the event includes a gathering of guests and represenatives of the media, which is planned at 9:45 at the parking lot “Interex”. A visit to Vidikovac (Arnautovići), with a view of the Bosnian pyramids of the sun is planned at 10:00, while at 10:45 there will be a visit to the prehistoric underground tunnels-underground labyrinth Ravne. A visit to the pyramids (concrete blocks on the north side) will take place at 13:30.
The press conference on the development of archeological tourism will be held on the premises of the Visoko city theatre beginning at 17:30. At 18:00 on these premises, there will be a lecture by Semir Osmanagić for tourists on the phenomenon of the pyramids in the world and in BiH in English.
