In Republika Srpska (RS) today is a Day of Mourning on the anniversary of the tragedy in Novi Sad, when a canopy collapsed at the Railway Station, killing 16 people.

Flags will be flown at half-mast at all institutions in Republika Srpska as a sign of sympathy for the citizens of Novi Sad and Serbia.

All planned cultural and sports events, as well as television and radio content, should be adjusted to the Day of Mourning, the Public Relations Office of the Republika Srpska Government announced.

The student organization “Students for Students” has called on colleagues, professors and citizens of Banja Luka to gather in front of the University Campus Rectorate today at 11:30 a.m.

As announced, the gathering will pay tribute to the people who died when the canopy of the Railway Station in Novi Sad collapsed.
